Blue Spring

This is a really quick post of my look today, all I am doing is going to work... idk why I take so much time on my face hah, but anyway... I found this look I really liked on pinterest today.. I have been wanting to do it for a while and I finally got the time to do it!:) I love this look ESP for brown eyes. I love doing blue on brown eyes on me and also on other people. It really makes the eyes pop. This look was actually incredibly simple... it did not require tons of blending... I pretty much used 4 colors on my lids and some blue eye liner and added some lashes and a dramatic brow.. I love this look I hope you guys do too... I will post the products below!! Thanks for checking it out!!

MALEFICENT

Today I challenged Angelina Jolies Maleficent...  It took me about an hr and a half.. My face didnt break out this time which I was very thankful for. This look was not too complicated at all. I saw the trailer for the new movie. and I thought the makeup they did on Angelina was so stunning, I was drawn to it and I have ben dying to try it out.. so this is my interpretation.. I looked up other people interpretations and some people chose to do a green face... I liked the pale look better so I used my usual Ben Nye clown white and then I did all of my contouring with black eye shadow. The contouring for this was pretty much the hardest part because it looks like in the movie they use prosthetic's for Angelinas cheek bones, and well I dont just have prosthetic's hanging around my house... nor did I have anything to use as horns, which I was really upset about. I hope you guys enjoy this look, and hope you can try to make it into your own interpretation as well! Products and photos are posted below! Enjoyy!

Goth photo shoot! (pics)

A few weeks ago I did a photo shoot with an old friend that I went to college with. She was looking to build up her portfolio and I was looking to build mine! So we decided to work together! I wanted to do this really cool edgy/goth photo shoot. We went to a local park and found this really cool run down building. I wanted to do something dark because I was very angry at the time... and I wanted to release it in an artistic way.. hahaha, really its true. It sounds so lame I know.

As far as makeup, I wore this long black maxi dress and these insane shoes. I wanted to do something that would match the dark griddyness of the shoot. On my eyes I did this really nice smugy smoked out eye with some fake lashes.

On my lids I used- Mac "Carbon", "Knight Divine", and "Shroom" and then I added some "Espresso" underneath my eyelid. I used liquid liner on the top lid and a pencil black liner underneath and smuged it out.

On my lips I used- "Black cherry" by NYX. I love this color. I am obsessed with this matte look. LOVE IT.

On my face- I used "Glamoflauge" by Hard Candy. This stuff is amazzzingggg. I recommend it to anyone who likes a full matte cover and wants long lasting stay! This even covers tattoos. This stuff is amazing! I will never use anything else as a concealer. The best part is its at Walmart for only $6. Cant beat that. I always buy a shade lighter because I like being pale.

First legit photo shoot!

It has been such a long time since I posted. I dont even know if anyone reads or looks at my stuff but oh well!.. anyway! About 2 weeks ago I got the opportunity to work on a photo shoot with a local photographer here in Baltimore. We shot at a place called "Atomic Canary" It was really amazing. A girl runs a studio out of her apartment... but it looks more like a loft. It was so cool, she had different set ups and props... it was located right in the artsy part of Baltimore City. It was really neat. It was really fun to be a part of this expereience. It was the first time I actually worked with a photographer and got to work behind the scene. It was honestly one of the most fun days of my life. The chance to see my makeup behind the camera on the model was a really nice feeling. I want to do so much more of this. I want to do it the rest of my life! I am ready for more!!!

Here are some pics that were taken of my makeup . The photographer Broday was really cool and really fun to work with, he did some great work.
